Our founder
Dr. Asim Al-Hanafi is a registered pharmacist and university lecturer with a background in pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical sciences. He earned his MSc and PhD in the field and currently teaches at the University of Bradford, where his work focuses on drug formulation and delivery.
Alongside his teaching, Asim’s research explores how pharmaceutical principles can be applied to sports nutrition — particularly in developing safe, effective supplements that support performance and recovery.
He’s especially interested in bridging the gap between science and real-world application, combining academic research with practical insights. Outside of teaching and research, he also works on projects involving supplements, functional ingredients, and regulations within the sports nutrition industry.
